Evergreen Youth Livestock Show

Mission Statement

The mission of the Evergreen Youth Livestock Show (EYLS), in harmony with the youth and the communities, is to empower youth to be positive contributors to society and the livestock industry. To accomplish these goals, the EYLS will specifically develop:

  • Animal husbandry and food quality assurance through raising market animals using ethical, safe and healthy methods.
  •  Financial management and economics through the record book contest and auction.
  •  Cooperation, responsibility and environmental cleanliness among groups through on site animal stewardship.

The Youth Market Animal Auction and Show is one of many shows in the State of Washington devoted entirely to youth. The facilities are provided by the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.
